First off – Thanks to those of you who came out to see us at 10PM on a Monday night!
I had a good time despite the fact that I was suffering from food poisoning all day. It’s really just fun to play, I hope you’ll come check it out.

5/20/08 – Great show at the Skylark! I just added a photo page, very rudimentary, but a few photos from the gig are there. When I get some time I’ll make a proper photo page… and eventually a proper news page, too…
5/30/08 – NNM with NadaMucho is on! June 2nd, 10PM.
I’ve been working on an online store for you, where you can get the WGF CD and music from some select local musicians.
The idea is that they have a way to get thier music to you and avoid the middleman, taking your support a little farther!
Stay tuned, I’m still working out some bugs. IPower changed platforms, which is a good thing, but they don’t offer much support
for all the reconfiguration you need to do to fix all the things that got broken…
4/22/08 - Hello.
Ahh, starting to get the gigs. You can catch us at the Skylark May 15th. I’ll be playing with Heart‘s drummer, Ben Smith. Good news eh?
You should come check it out!
We should be playing the NNM for NadaMucho on June 2nd, as soon as I get it confirmed I’ll post it.
I talked to Ben at Planetary (see below) today. It’s $400/ week for radio promotion.
That, of course means that I will have to be descerning about when that happens. Like when we tour the west coast in the fall.
Or Japan (seems to be working for Green Chili GoGo Dust). Who knows?
4/3/08 - Kind of a slow week.
I’ve been looking into promoters for radio play, getting most of my information
from KEXP’s site(http://kexp.org/programming/airplay.asp). Did you know you have to write a cover letter
for this? I thought being a musician meant not having to do the “real job” crap! Never the less, I will not let that deter me.
You will hear WGF in your town soon. Anyway, I’ll be sending the CD off to some of these folks, like The Planetary Group and
Fanatic Promotion, Inc
…. Anyone interested in becoming a promotion/band manager???? ??? ??
3/25/08 - Mickey realizes that he doesn’t keep up with the website very well.
Things are looking good. Andrew Sherbrooke is on board for some guitar noise.
Kenny James is going to fill until I get a permanent drummer. This is good, it means we can gig!
These guys are top notch musicians and I am having a blast in rehearsal! (You can come check it out yourself, soon!)
Still hoping to find a Hammond B-3 genius. If we can’t find that person, then another guitarist.
I’ll try to be more present, for those of you paying attention.
